How it works
Three steps, under a minute
No card, no subscription, no email address to invent. Your phone number is enough to sign up.
Say where you are going
No street address needed — drop a pin on the map or type the name of your neighbourhood. That is how people give directions here anyway.
Name your price
You set it. Nearby riders accept it, or counter with theirs. Movo never imposes a fare — it only shows what others actually pay on that trip.
Choose your rider
See their rating, their bike, their plate and how many trips they have completed. Watch them approach on the map, and pay cash on arrival.

What each side gets
Movo is worthless if it only helps one of the two people involved. Here is what each of them actually gains.
If you are the passenger
The price is settled before you get on — written down, visible to both of you. No more arguing on arrival.
You know who is coming: name, photo, bike, plate, rating, and documents checked by our team.
You wait under shelter and watch the bike approach, instead of flagging one down at the roadside.
You can end the trip at any point if you do not feel safe, and report it.
If you are the rider
No fare imposed on you. Accept the offer, or name your own. Movo does not price your work for you.
Trips come to you within 4 km, with the destination and the price shown before you accept anything.
Paid in cash, hand to hand, at the end of every trip. Nothing to chase, nothing to wait for.
A reputation that follows you and gets you picked: completed trips, rating, seniority, and trust tiers.

What makes a trip safe
Getting on a stranger’s bike takes trust. Trust is not announced — it is built out of things you can check for yourself.
Documents we actually read
No rider receives a single trip before our team has opened their ID, licence, registration and insurance. An expired insurance policy takes the account offline on its own.
A code to start
You give a four-digit code as you get on. Without it the trip does not start — and nobody else can take your place.
Tiers that are earned
New rider, Verified, Trusted, Highly trusted. The tier is computed from completed trips, cancellations, rating and reports. It goes up, and it goes down.
Coming to Ghana
Movo is opening in Ghana in the coming weeks — with cars alongside motorbikes. If you drive in Accra, Kumasi or Takoradi and want to be among the first riders on the platform, write to us.
